Whether you're a sixth form student, someone who's ready for their second job, or an undergraduate, you may be unsure about where and how to launch your career within PwC. Come to one of our Insight Days - which will help clarify your thinking.
Whatever your plans, it's a good place to start. In fact, many of the people who join us via our HEADstart programme, the Flying Start Degree programme, or as a graduate have first taken part in one of our Insight Days.
Get involved & take something home
You'll spend a day in one of our offices across the UK, discovering what we do, how, why and where we do it, and who we do it for. We'll explain the various directions a career with PwC can take you - and how far you could go - and you'll have every opportunity to ask our people questions face to face and get a better grasp of our business.
Insight Days are interactive. You'll try your hand at a variety of teamwork simulations and business games, find out if you have the makings of a commercial thinker and discover how it feels to be part of a client project. All of these activities will focus your mind on the kind of personal and business skills we look for in new recruits. The whole point is to give you a better idea of whether professional services is the sector for you - and to have fun along the way.
Our Insight Days will give you plenty of practical advice to take away with you. You'll have the opportunity to complete some psychometric tests - now an integral part of the selection process for most roles in business. You'll also find out what constitutes a good quality application and pick up tips on application and interview techniques - all of which will be invaluable whatever your next steps will be.
People who've attended regularly tell us that the Insight Days are brilliant for giving them that all-important first insight into business and opening their eyes to the skills they'll need to succeed. Not only that, because of the practical nature of the days, they can really enhance your CV - even if you decide not to pursue a career with us.
You'll need 280 UCAS points (or equivalent) if you are a school leaver or 300 UCAS points (or equivalent) if you have or are studying for a degree.
However, no degree is necessary to attend an Insight Day – our Insight Days are open to school-leavers, undergraduates, graduates and career changers.
Why not come along? You've nothing to lose - and so much to gain.
