Our Belfast office

The Belfast office, a modern office building at Waterfront Plaza, overlooking the River Lagan, is close to major amenities such as the Waterfront Hall, Odyssey Arena and the main city shopping area. There are 25 partners and some 700 staff - mostly from Northern Ireland but also including those from other parts of the UK who have settled here after graduating from university here.

We audit almost half of the Ulster Business Top 100 companies and act for a significant proportion of Northern Ireland's family-owned and owner-managed firms. We advise clients including multinational corporations, family companies, owner-managed businesses and government bodies. Particular sector specialisms include construction, hospitality and ICT.

We have an active social committee, which organises everything from the annual dinner to family fun days, as well as many sports activities, including five-a-side football tournaments, an annual golf competition, hockey and ski trips. There are also monthly after-work drinks evenings and an annual black-tie dinner, while outside of firm-organised occasions, staff arrange many of their own departmental social events.

Opportunities to contribute to the firms' social responsibility agenda include volunteering for community projects, such as helping with environmental initiatives and redecorating local schools.

About Belfast

Northern Ireland's largest city, Belfast was transformed by the Industrial Revolution - and it continues to develop at a great rate even today. Grand public buildings give it a vigorous, 19th-century feel, while recent investment has seenrestaurants, cafes and pubs flourish.

This compact city boasts a massive arts festival, waterfront artworks and the new Odyssey Complex, while the riverfront area is also being transformed. Today, it's renowned as being one of the friendliest and liveliest cities in the country.

Belfast is a lively city - but you're never far from the peace and quiet of the countryside. For students who are looking for a wide range of business experience, along with top-class support during their training, Belfast offers all this and more.
