Spend a week in the company of like-minded peers, learning from top professional business advisers and recruiters.
The PwC Insight Academy gives you the chance to do just that.
Imagine spending a week in the company of like-minded peers, learning from top professional business advisers and recruiters - and equipping you for the world or work with a depth of preparation accessible to only the most talented and ambitious of tomorrow's graduates.
The Insight Academy is a prestigious, one-week programme, designed to put first-year undergraduates (or second year undergraduates if you are studying a four year degree) through their paces on a demanding but rewarding course of learning. It's envisaged that those who are successful on the Insight Academy will fast track through to places on PwC Internships, International Internships or Business Placements.
You'll build on your existing knowledge and competencies through comprehensive skills sessions, recruitment workshops and business awareness workshops. The Academy will deliver a blended approach to learning, enhancing your skills with the workplace firmly in mind.
Straight away, you'll realise how much you already know - for instance, about dealing with different people and situations - from work you may already have carried out casually while studying, or even from voluntary work, societies or charities. More importantly, though, you'll amaze yourself at how swiftly you can build on your knowledge throughout the week, applying it to the kinds of business scenarios you'd come across on a day-to-day basis at PwC. The course will be intensive and demanding - but you'll be under the watchful eye of experienced business professionals.
There will also be a challenging, action-centred learning project that you'll conduct in groups throughout the week. And at the end, you'll be asked to present your project's findings and recommendations - something which will be more than simply a 'show and tell' exercise.
You'll need to be an undergraduate in your first year or second year if you are studying a four year degree programme with 300 UCAS points (or equivalent) and on course for a 2:1 (any degree).
