Depending on whether you join via the PwC Experience Generalist Route or Specialist Route, you can keep your longer-term options open or choose to specialise right from the start. And whichever of the following areas you initially join, the work will be varied with no one typical day in the office.

Business Recovery Services helps under-performing businesses find the best way forward by advising, restructuring or refinancing. It’s the largest UK practice in this field, offering services that range from turnaround implementation to accelerated mergers and acquisitions.

Corporate Finance supports and advises clients involved in any form of corporate or public/ private transaction, helping them acquire, invest in and dispose of assets, and raise finance. It also advises public sector bodies on, for example, securing private sector funding to build new roads and schools, improve rail services and modernise hospitals.

Forensic Services is involved in investigations, disputes, claims and advice regarding everything from anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance to capital projects, fraud and economic crime. It also has a team of forensic technology specialists who focus on the capture, management and analysis of electronic data.

Forensic Technology Solutions provides litigation support for lawyers, investigators and clients. It also helps with complex data analytics or forensic data preservation, where the information is buried deep in IT systems. It uses cutting-edge technology and advises on large-scale data preservations and collections.

Valuations delivers expert commercial valuation and expert opinions that help clients make strategic decisions, meet regulatory requirements and resolve disputes. Deep industry expertise plus technical valuation skills and rigorous financial, economic, regulatory and strategic analysis act as a framework for our service.

Transaction Services* supports clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), advising throughout the deal cycle. Join us here and you’ll gain the skills you need to analyse and advise on M&A deals.
