Banking Technologies Group built a three-year IT-infrastructure development plan which considered the requirements of the Bank to the back-office centralization.
During the project the experts from Banking Technologies Group analyzed current IT-assets at the Bank‘s Data Centres, 3 Regional Centres and 3 branches. Based on the analysis results PwC experts documented the existing IT-architecture, performed an inventory of IT-assets and developed a catalogue of IT-services. We also analyzed various technological options and provided recommendations on server and workstation virtualization.
As a result of the project the Bank received a roadmap of its IT-infrastructure development projects, including: servers, workstations, network, data storage systems and Data Centres. For each project PwC experts identified its business benefits, required timing and estimated amount of investment.
By centralization and using virtualization technologies the Bank gained the opportunity to use its servers capacity more effectively, improve the security and reliability of its systems.
