Experts from PwC Banking Technology Group jointly with Operation and IT departments of the Bank successfully completed the project of a centralized Customer Information repository (CIF system) development and customer data cleansing.
During the project PwC experts jointly with Bank’s specialists developed a centralized customer information repository which consolidates customer data from different systems of the Bank, performs automated data cleansing and deduplication. Also customer data cleansing methodology for source systems and target Data Governance model were developed and successfully implemented within the project scope.
The scope of the data included about 10 million records related to retail and corporate clients of the Bank.
Oracle Data Integrator solution was selected for the purpose of data consolidation and preliminary processing. PwC consultants and Bank’s specialists performed joint works on integration of the CIF system with source systems and developed rules for consolidation and unification of the customer data. PwC experts developed special data cleansing algorithms and applied them on Trillium Enterprise Data Quality solution used for the purpose of data analysis and data cleansing. The result of the project was consolidated customer information repository with graphical user interface for easy access to the consolidated information.
According to Alexey Yankovski, PwC Banking Technology Group Leader: “The consolidated client information repository will enable the Bank to obtain verified and complete customer information through a single window. This will also help the Bank to design new products, increase profitability of the client segments and improve collection activities. Results of the project will also help to migrate correct and verified data to the new centralized core banking system Oracle Flexcube selected for implementation by the Bank”.
