Vyacheslav Vlasov, Partner with PwC Ukraine, was invited to be one of the key speakers at the conference “Tax reform – the most important resource for economic growth and job creation,” which brought together government officials, business leaders and recognized experts in the field.
Among the participants of the conference were Sergiy Tigipko, the chairman of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Anatoliy Kinakh, and the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy, Vitaly Homutynnyk.
In his speech, Vlasov stressed that tax reform should be aimed at maintaining a civilized dialogue between the tax inspector and businesses. Vyacheslav mentioned that,
“This dialogue should not be about whether the balance sheet is issued after the business trip, but how the market is pricing a particular group of companies and, therefore, whether the taxes are correctly paid.”
