Bryan Disher has been appointed Country Managing Partner for PwC Ukraine

Kyiv – May 24, 2012 – Bryan Disher is assuming the role of Country Managing Partner in Ukraine with effect from 1 July 2011. In his new role, Disher will lead a practice of over 450 professionals and will focus on growing PwC's business in Ukraine. Prior to this appointment, Bryan was the PwC Assurance leader in Ukraine.

Bryan is taking over from Boris Krasnyansky, who will become the new CEO of Group DF.

Bryan joined PwC Ukraine in March 2011. Since his arrival in Kyiv he has worked with the Ukraine Assurance team to drive the growth of audit business of over 20% in FY12, leading major new audit wins with the largest companies in metals, energy, chemicals and confectionery industries.

Commenting on his appointment Bryan Disher said:

Before moving to Ukraine Bryan worked with PwC Canada, where he served as managing partner of the Ottawa office for 8 years, and served 2 terms on the Canadian Partnership Board, including a term as Board Chair. Bryan is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants with more than 33 years' experience serving both the private sector and government. He has more than thirty years’ experience in accounting consultancy, assurance and financial management for both private and publicly listed companies and for governments. He has led more than 50 public share offerings. Industries served include metals, mining and exploration, software, green energy, biotechnology, retail, agriculture, food processing and distribution, brewing, investment management and transportation.

Bryan joined PwC in 1978 and was admitted to partnership in 2001. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. Bryan is married and has three daughters.
