Kyiv, 14 Oct 2011 – PwC Ukraine , part of the largest network of consulting and auditing firms in the world, has just opened a new office in Dnipropetrovsk.

PwC now has four offices based in Ukraine and will now be better able to serve its growing client base in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Zaporizhzhya oblasts.  PwC is the first of the "Big 4" audit and consulting firms to set up an office in this region.

"We have decided to open an office in Dnipropetrovsk for a number of reasons,” said Boris Krasnyansky, Managing Partner of PwC Ukraine. “Firstly, we have strong and long-lasting relationships with some of our key clients in this region, and we feel it’s important to be closer to them. Above all, we view the opening of Dnipropetrovsk office as an investment in client relationships — with current clients, as well as with those we hope to attract.”

“No one would deny the significant economic potential shown by Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Zaporizhzhya oblasts, as this region is an operational site for major companies in metallurgy, mining, power, automotive, oil and chemical industries. The aim of our firm there is to help further develop the region by providing first class assurance, advisory and tax and legal services», he added.

“Active engagement into local business groups and communities will open new opportunities to us and will improve the region’s business and investment environment,” said Olena Volkova, Assurance Senior Manager in charge of PwC Dnipropetrovsk.

PwC Dnipropetrovsk professionals will offer clients a full range of assurance services, tax and customs consulting, legal services, business advisory-consulting, transaction support, financial forensics, corporate training (PwC Academy), and HR services. The office is located in the Slavia Business Centre at 1А K. Marx Avenue.

PwC has been present in Ukraine since 1993. With more than 400 employees working in its offices in Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk, PwC is committed to deliver high quality services to over 400 companies operating in Ukraine.

PwC reported gross revenues of US$29.2 billion for its number one worldwide network of firms for the fiscal year ended 30 June 2011.
