Akzo Nobel retained the Services of PricewaterhouseCoopers Ukraine

Global Fortune 500 company Akzo Nobel retained the services of PwC Ukraine to assist in all the legal aspects of its recently finalized joint venture project in Ukraine. Akzo Nobel is a multicultural company serving customers throughout the world with human and animal healthcare products, coatings and chemicals and is listed on Euronext Amsterdam and NASDAQ stock exchanges.

The services provided by PwC Ukraine’s legal team included legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating contracts, obtaining consent for concentration from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and monitoring the closing of the agreements supporting the acquisition of a majority stake in the coating activities of a Ukrainian decorative paint manufacturer. The PwC legal team on the Akzo Nobel project was led by Boris Schwarzer and Tatiana Timchenko.
