PwC suggests ways to perform tax-efficient land transactions in Ukraine

On 21 November 2008, the first Ukrainian conference on "Land Market & Investments in Ukraine" took place at the Hyatt Regency Kyiv.

Conference participants included investors, land owners, developers, lawyers and consultants from agroindustrial companies operating in Ukraine.

At the event, Svetlana Bilyk, a Senior Manager in the Tax and Legal Services department of PwC Ukraine, delivered a presentation on "Tax Efficient Structuring of Land Transactions in Ukraine". In her presentation, Svetlana outlined the major tax consequences of land transactions (for residents and non-residents) and provided recommendations on ways to structure land transactions in a tax-efficient manner.

The Financial Analytic Service organised the conference in cooperation with Aleksandrov and Partners, an international legal firm.
