The event, which took place on 21 December in Kharkov, was organized at the initiative of Kharkiv Region Customs Service, EBA and PwC Ukraine and was aimed to increase the transparency and openness of customs control and improve the interaction between government and business.
The agenda included vigorous debates on the new Customs Code and its perception by business community, issues of dealing with a customs value and other matters critical to businesses. Shendryk Denis, Manager with PwC Ukraine and the Chairman of the Customs Committee of the EBA was the moderator and speaker of the event.
