PwC Ukraine invites you to a Business Breakfast dedicated to the practical aspects of Ukrainian antimonopoly regulation.

The current activity of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (the “AMCU”) seems particularly focused on investigating retail chains, as well as addressing advertisements for food and pharmaceutical products. At present, certain aspects of the antimonopoly regulation in the economic concentration area also remain topical.

Given the above, we will focus our discussion on antimonopoly issues concerning pharma and retail businesses, as well as the AMCU’s control over M&A transactions.

  • Antitrust risks associated with similar conduct on the market (e.g. simultaneous increases in price and maintaining prices at the same level).
  • Summarizing the practice of the AMCU and the courts related to unfair advertising.
  • Particular issues of antimonopoly regulation regarding M&A transactions (atypical types of concentration, purchase of assets (businesses), determination of economic thresholds, transition to sole control, transactions between foreign companies, subjects of responsibility and risks of the invalidation of a transaction).

The number of seats is limited. We reserve the right to limit the number of participants from one company. If your registration request is received after the maximum capacity is reached, we will notify you, and, if possible, register you for a subsequent/similar event. The date of any subsequent event will be communicated separately.
