PwC's 12th Global CEO Survey "Redefining Success" survey examines the impact of the unprecedented economic and financial turmoil facing the world today. However tempting it is to focus on short-term imperatives, we cannot afford to ignore the longer term. Amidst the confusing haze of risks,regulations and recovery packages, this year’s CEO survey asks this question: How do company leaders determine the strategy that will lead to success when the economic fog eventually clears?

Stemming from the interview process, we thought you may find this summary document of interest. It contains the highlights from the responses of 1,124 CEOs and executives from more than 50 countries. We compared the results of their responses with the global average across all industries - with some interesting findings.
