Deputy Manager

The assigned territory is TAX in Laos with a headquarter base in Thailand,  therefore, frequent travel will be required between Bangkok and Laos.  Working as a Tax / Legal Deputy Manager, you will be dividing your time between working in the office, on site with clients and sharing your professional knowledge with a team of colleagues.  If you are keen to play a key role in providing solutions to challenges, this is your opportunity to become a valued member of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax / Legal team!

Job responsibilities:

• Manage the client’s portfolios and build client relationships in the assigned territory (Laos)
• Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations
• Be a main contact person for Laos Tax clients
• Help to develop and guide staff and other junior tax professionals in Laos by providing effective performance feedback and ensuring team responsibilities are consistent with skills and developmental goals.

Essential requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, and Law
• 5 - 7 years of experience in Tax consulting / compliance
• CPA is preferred
• Strong business development and presentation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with fluency in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to drive the team spirit
• Willing to travel to clients sites and to the PwC Laos TAX Office
