Our FTS team uses information technology skills and expertise to help our clients manage and deal with fraud, cybercrime, and litigation issues. Our FTS services include:

We’re looking for Associates and Senior Associates who are able to apply their IT knowledge and skills in forensic technology works, where credibility, reliability and admissibility are crucial. A single assignment might require knowledge of computer systems and communications, networking and security, database and enterprise application architecture, as well as the basic qualifications of a forensic practitioner - analytical skills and skepticism.

You’ll be responsible for front-line client service, including;

(i) collection of electronic data and digital evidence using forensic technology tools and procedures,

(ii) recovery of corrupted digital information or deleted digital evidence using PwC’s proprietary forensic techniques,

(iii) examination of digital evidence to discover facts and validate the allegations,

(iv) analysis of information stored in the database using forensic analytical tools to discover trends, patterns, anomalies, potential red flags of fraud, and other insights,

(v) incident response to cybercrime and security breach.

You’ll also play a vital role in preventive work. Our team provides consulting and implementation services to help organisations fight fraud, both internally and externally. To do this, we follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from end-to-end, including requirement gathering, solutions design, software development and implementation, testing, training, deployment and post-production support. We provide both custom-made enterprise applications and enterprise solutions packages. We employ a broad range of technologies and platforms to offer the best solutions to our clients.

As part of our FTS team, you’ll also have the opportunity to serve clients abroad and work with our PwC network around the world to resolve our clients’ issues and develop our FTS practice through training, seminars, conferences, and research and development activities.

Basic requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration in Technology.
  • Up to five years’ experience as a system engineer, network engineer, software developer, solutions consultant, IT security consultant, database architect, IT auditor, or in a related occupation in software, database and network security.
  • Programming experience with widely-accepted platforms (e.g. JAVA, Visual Studio .NET and C++) using data manipulation tools and/or RDBMS driver.
  • Knowledge of database technologies, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL server and MySQL, and experience in data architecture or database programming.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, general business processes and business drivers for technology.

Additional requirements

  • Knowledge of more than one of these technologies: CAAT (Computer Assisted Auditing Technologies), ACL, SAS and ERP Systems.
  • Professional IT/network or forensic certifications are an advantage (e.g. EnCE, CCFP, CEH, CISSP, CISA, ITIL, CCNA, CCIE, CCDA).
  • A background in software asset management (SAM), software licence compliance and IT security is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of Windows operating systems and related environments, such as Windows Registry, Active Directory, WMI, Windows domain and file system, etc.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and other PwC professionals.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines, prioritise and handle multiple tasks, use strong leadership and technical skills and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work in team environments and client-facing situations are essential.
  • Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus.
