Job Description
- Designing, developing, and documenting Business Continuity Plan for all functions as project required e.g., IT backup, manpower evacuation plan.
- Recommending recovery strategies and options, and assisting with the implementation of recovery solutions.
- Developing schedules for training/awareness for business partner associates.
- Developing business unit schedules for annual business continuity documentation maintenance and update, exercises, and independent review and validation.
- Reporting the business continuity status of business units to senior management.
- Providing expertise and support to management and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs.
- Coordinating Business Continuity Plan exercises, capitalising on business opportunities to refine production processes to mitigate exposure during disruptions of service, and, possibly, improve day-to-day operations.
Job Requirement Essential
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a business continuity function or related field/s.
- Having experience in IT, banking or a consultancy firm is a plus.
- Possess strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills. Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners in remote locations.
- Must be a leader and a productive team player.
- Able to travel, and off-hours on-call support required.
- Very good command of English.
