The Performance Improvement Senior Manager or Associate Director (financial services) is responsible for both day-to-day management of client engagement services and new business development, particularly with financial services clients. The candidate should have a strong knowledge and experiences with bank and/or insurance strategy. Relationship network within the industry is preferred (but not required). The Performance Improvement Senior Manager or AD (financial services) should have most of these following experiences, i.e., transformation, strategic planning, business planning, business process redesign, and/or large-scale program management.

The role will be supporting engagement delivery, contributing industry knowledge to support cross functional consultants in delivery to financial services clients. (i.e. leveraging his/her experiences, network within financial services industry, to enrich engagement recommendations). In addition, support business development activities, actively identify leads, take active roles in pursuit team, add value as an expert, being part of pursuit team in proposal presentation and relationship development. An outcome of success in this role, is to maintain the customer’s existing revenue spend and strategically up-sell additional products and services.

The Performance Improvement Senior Manager or Associate Director (financial services) is also responsible in developing the firm’s financial services practice. Developing client community. Being part of leadership team in developing financial services consultant teams for Southeast Asia Peninsula.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple large scale financial services, banking and insurance industries and business transformation projects according to standard practices
  • Drive expansion of firm services at existing clients and where applicable, manage multiple project teams
  • Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and budget tracking documents and ensure that they are maintained
  • Coordinate, facilitate and/or deliver consulting activities needed for the project
  • Industry Expert, providing industry insights and knowledge to support delivery of major Transformation Change, Organization Design, Strategic Formulation engagements
  • Flexible to work with multiple line of services
  • Communicate status throughout the project lifecycle to all stakeholders
  • Manage and build the client relationship and opportunities for business expansion with the client
  • Being part of leadership team in developing the firm’s financial services practice

Job Requirements

  • 6-8+ yrs. experience and demonstrated success in a strategy-oriented management consulting role, with particular emphasis in transformation change, organization development and strategy business improvement processes
  • Extensive knowledge, experience and relationship within financial services industry
  • Possess good analytical, communication, logical thinking skills
  • Experienced dealing with senior clients (C-suite)
  • Presentable, articulate and professional working attitude
  • Extremely strong written and oral communication skills in Thai and English
  • Results-driven and execution-oriented personality, ready to step in and make things happen
  • Prior experience working in a project-based environment and/or large-scale transformation
