IT Consulting Manager



Job Requirement

  • Manage multiple large scale information technology and business transformation projects according to standard practices
  • Drive expansion of firm services at existing clients
  • Where applicable, manage multiple project teams
  • Responsible for software & consulting solution implementations from kick off meeting, to turnover and support
  • Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and budget tracking documents and ensure that they are maintained and adhered to throughout the lifecycle of each project
  • Coordinate and facilitate all training efforts needed for the project
  • Coordinate, facilitate and/or deliver consulting activities needed for the project
  • Trainer of customer technical and user teams, providing both class training, and on-the-job training
  • Solution Expert, providing assistance on technical solutions and industry knowledge as required
  • Functional Expert, providing best practices for the implementation of relevant processes and procedures
  • Coaching and mentoring team members
  • Communicate status throughout the project lifecycle to all stakeholders
  • Manage and build the client relationship and opportunities for business expansion with the client

Professional Skills

  • 6-8+ yrs. experience and demonstrated success in a strategy-oriented management consulting role, with particular emphasis in innovation management, information technology solutions and business transformation
  • 5+ yrs. experience and demonstrated success in project managing multiple, complex business application / software implementations with external clients
  • 5+ yrs. experience in account management, at senior levels of external client organizations, with proven success at expanding business base, and a strong ability to manage and direct client expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to assess client needs, develop project scope to meet client needs, plan all necessary project tasks to satisfy customer needs, and ensure they are properly and realistically, budgeted, monitored and reported
  • Experience creating, facilitating, and presenting reports and workshops to senior-level client stakeholders
  • Must have a solid track record of being a team player
  • Must have demonstrated success leading project teams and a record of high customer satisfaction
  • Ability to lead and facilitate project meetings and senior level client meetings
  • Extremely strong written and oral communication skills in Thai and English
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks that may impact the success of the project and determine appropriate mitigating actions
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Project and other MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Results-driven and execution-oriented personality, ready to step in and make things happen
  • BS / BA degree in Computer Science, Business Management or a related field; M.B.A. preferred
  • Knowledge of PMI best practices and/or certification is a plus
  • High degree of technical skills such as business platforms like ERP, CRM, BI is advantageous
  • Prior experience working in a growing, fast-paced organization with a dynamic environment
