The Operational Programme Research and Development supports activities aimed at the creation of a stable environment favourable to innovation for all relevant subjects, and the enhancement of effectiveness and performance of the R&D and innovation system as the main pillar for increasing competitiveness, sustainable economic growth, and employment.

According to the indicative schedule published by the Ministry of Economy, the next calls for proposals under the OP Research and Development will be announced during the third and fourth quarter 2015.

The calls will be related to the following specific aims:

  • Specific Aim 1.2.2: Growth of R&D and innovation capacities in industry and services
  • Specific Aim 2.2.2: Growth of R&D and innovation capacities in industry and services in the Bratislava Region
  • Specific Aim 3.3.1: Enhancing competitiveness of SMEs at the start-up stage

Eligible applicants for the upcoming calls are natural or legal persons eligible for business activity, and associations of natural or legal persons. For Specific Aim 3.3.1, eligible applicants are natural or legal persons eligible for business activities which fall under the definition of SMEs, and associations of natural or legal persons.

Individual calls will remain open subject to the availability of allocated funds.
