Shantini is a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Services LLP and is a member of the International Tax Group which handles special cross-border assignments / projects involving regional and international tax issues.
Shantini has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Laws degree from the University of London, King’s College. Shantini has been admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. Prior to joining PwC Singapore, Shantini practised law in the area of commercial and corporate law. She has about 15 years of experience in taxation.
Shantini has been involved in major consultancy projects involving multi-nationals as well as local enterprises in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, developing tax efficient investment structures (both inbound and outbound), restructuring of business operations, cross-border tax reviews, incentive planning, trust structuring, cash pooling and stamp duty.
Shantini has also advised high net worth individuals and business families on local and foreign trust structures. This includes assessing the applicability of relevant tax incentives and planning of tax efficient structures in Singapore. She has recently advised the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) on trust related matters.
