Girish has had more than 16 years of experience advising clients on cross border corporate tax as well as expatriate tax issues in Big 4 firms in Singapore and India.
Girish worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore from August 2001 until October 2005 (and rejoined in April 2007) and his areas of focus include expatriate tax consulting (including advice on and design of tax efficient compensation structures), regional expatriate tax management, international assignment and tax equalisation policy designing and all aspects of employee equity plan design and consulting.
Girish has worked with a number of clients in the financial services sector, including hedge funds and private equity houses advising them on inter-alia, tax issues surrounding carried interest and management co-investment and incentive vehicles.
Girish is a Chartered Accountant (similar to CPA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also a qualified Management Accountant and a Company Secretary. He is a frequent speaker at public seminars in Singapore and has contributed articles on taxation in newsletters.
