Anuj has over 14 years of experience in a Singapore tax and business environment. He is a partner in PwC Singapore’s tax financial services team, leading the asset management tax practice.
Anuj has spent most of his time dealing with international advisory work, historically across a whole spectrum of industries, including asset management, insurance and M&A. Anuj is actively involved in discussing asset management issues with the relevant authorities, industry associations and has a close working relationship with the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Anuj has provided extensive consulting advice to numerous financial services industry players on various areas of taxation, including restructuring of investments, setting up of Singapore investment funds and fund management operations, entry strategies into Singapore and Asia, use of Singapore investment platforms, treaty analysis, setting up of headquarters companies, Exchange Traded Funds, Collateralised Debt Obligations and real estate investments.
Anuj is a member of the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals.
Anuj's key past and present clients include fund managers focussing on private equity, alternative strategies, real estate, family offices and traditional fund managers. These include local and global players as well as sovereign wealth funds.
