Business Systems - Assistant Manager

We are investing in digitizing our paperwork processes to improve efficiency and controls. This requires highly reliable and user friendly IT systems that closely fits real world business processes.

You will oversee the roll out and maintenance of IT systems that support this business direction, supporting several business units under our Tax line of service,, ensuring the systems are updated to meet changing business needs on an on-going basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine and translate business requirements into functional requirements applying best practices both for processes and system
  • Track progress of project deliverables, proactively identifying, escalating and managing issues to meet project deadlines
  • Develop functional scenario-based test scripts and test data to support all solution testing
  • Actively manage external vendors and in-house IT department in the development and roll out of system solutions
  • Conduct system training to key-users and interact with users to manage expectations and resolve issues, including the facilitation of team meetings
  • Work with IT department to ensure the end state product meets the defined requirements as listed in the functional design documents
  • Documenting of work processes, system functions and user manuals
  • Analyse and provide recommendations for enhancements to processes and systems.

Requirements:

  • A good Degree in preferably in Computer Studies or Information Systems related fields with solid corporate business knowledge
  • At least 4 years of working experience as Business Analyst in IT projects
  • Patient with a positive, customer-oriented attitude. Possesses initiative and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Structured and analytical approach to solving critical problems
  • Excellent communicator, both written and orally.
