Japanese Business Development Manager

You will be working closely with our client service teams to deepen Japanese client relationships and drive the identification of new Japanese client opportunities in support of our financial services advisory service offerings to help achieve revenue targets. Your primary responsibilities will involve working with our regional and local client service teams to build Japanese client relationships and understanding their needs, identify opportunities and value propositions, assist with development of client account strategy and plans, and managing client account administration. You will establish business contacts and information gathering channels for the collation and broadcast of market/client intelligence to the various account teams.

Job Requirement Essential

You should have a minimum of 8 years of work experience, of which at least 4 years are spent in a business development or equivalent role. You should have a keen understanding of the financial services industry as well as knowledge of advisory services in a Big Four accounting firm and/or consulting firm. You will come with proven track record in relationship management, knowledge of innovative sales techniques and prior experience in managing large client accounts, including developing account strategies and driving account plans. You would also have experience leading and managing small teams and possess strong interpersonal skills and have a keen entrepreneurial mind set. Willingness to travel would be an advantage. Japanese native speakers who are fluent in both written and spoken English are welcome to apply.
