Business Development - Manager / Senior Manager

The Business Development team is client-focused, strategically aligned to the Firm's priorities and passionately committed to positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm. The position will suit someone with strong interpersonal skills and real commercial acumen.
Responsibilities
- Strengthening client relationships with specific priority accounts, working closely with the lead Relationship Partners and client service teams across various capability areas
- Understanding client needs and gathering information on client issues through meetings and networking
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities for providing advisory services, with the involvement of the relevant PwC subject matter experts
- Developing client account strategy and plans and working with regional and global account teams
- Building networks within the firm to ensure the right expertise is brought together to meet clients' needs
- As part of the wider business development team, assisting in promoting a client value focused culture and driving business development initiatives across the practice
Requirements
- Have at least 2 - 8 years of proven and relevant experience in internal controls including systems and process assurance and / or internal audit assignments
- Ideally, you should have prior experience working in an international public accounting firm or a consulting firm in either an associate or managerial capacity, alternatively experience in a bank or an insurance company in a risk or control capacity would be applicable
- Broad understanding of the banking or insurance industries, the underlying business processes, systems and industry trends would be viewed favourably
- Strong interpersonal skills, working in teams, managing staff and client relationships are key attributes that would be required and focus areas for development within the role
