Final results
The main conclusion of the DEMO project is, that it is possible to monitor and verify emission reductions of NOx and SO2 from moving emitters at sea, with the technology and knowledge that exist today.

On-line shipboard emissions monitoring and reporting test
This test demonstrates that it is feasible to jointly log the emission report parameters: "time", "position" and "engine load", to automatically create an emission report using existing ship data, to automatically transmit the emissions data/emission reports to a "register" ashore and to follow the emission reductions created on-line.
