Selection process

CV / Application form pre-screen

As the first step in our selection process you should register on our site, find a position you are interested in and send us the detailed CV.

HR telephone interview

If your profile is of interest for our current openings you’ll be arranged an interview with a recruiter dedicated to the position you applied for. The interview usually takes around 30–40 minutes.

During the interview you will be asked questions regarding your preferences and expectations, professional experience and personal and professional objectives. There might also be additional questions relating to their coaching, leadership, project management skills and ability to work in a changing business environment. And of course this stage gives you an opportunity to ask your questions regarding jobs and life in Russia.

Interview

Telephone interviews with hiring Managers/Partners

At this stage there’re arranged several telephone interviews (from one to three) with Managers and above, depending on the position you applied for. The main purpose of these interviews is to evaluate your professional skills, experience and knowledge.

In exceptional cases (e.g. when the candidate already had experience working in Russia) the decision on hiring is made after the final telephone interview.

Videoconference (optional stage)

In some cases a videoconference with the candidate is arranged as an additional interview with Line of Servise representatives.

Look-see visit (optional stage)

Look-see visit is usually arranged for 1–3 days. This is an opportunity for you to meet with Line of Service representatives, Global Mobility specialists and HR and discuss all your concerns and get detailed first-hand information. You might also have an opportunity to see the city, to find out more about living and working in Russia and make your decision on whether you’re ready for a move.

The Firm provides the following:

  • Accommodation
  • Arrange for airport transportation
  • Meeting schedule
Tour In some cases the Firm also arranges additional tours:
  • Flat tour (we suggest to candidates to have a look at a few housing options to give them a better idea of the market in Moscow)
  • City tour (this is an opportunity to see the sights in Moscow, the candidate is accompanied by a guide)
PricewaterhouseCoopers reimburses look-see related expenses (i.e. flights, Russian visa).

After a look-see visit and final evaluation of the your suitability for the role the decision about making a hire is made.

Offer of employment

If it’s decided to make you an offer of employment you will receive a call from us regarding the offer conditions and after that we’ll send you the offer of employment by e-mail together with information that could be useful for you (e.g. salary taxation, medical insurance, holiday schedule, weather, driver’s license, etc.).

Reference check

The reference check is done after you confirm your offer acceptance. After the reference check completion our Global Mobility team starts the relocation process.

You will be informed about the results of each stage within 2 weeks by e-mail or telephone. In exceptional cases (e.g. if it’s necessary to develop a business case to proceed further with the candidate) it can take more time.

Any job offer and subsequent relocation will be managed by the Russian GM team.
