Russian CFO Summit

On 21–23 October, the Marriott Grand Hotel in Moscow hosted the annual Russian CFO Summit. Preceded by a pre-conference workshop on managing company performance and value, the event gathered more than 400 CFOs and senior financiers of many well-respected Russian companies from a wide range of industries. The summit particularly focused on the role of the CFO in risk management. Participants also spotlighted the CFO’s role in talent management (i.e., recruiting, developing and retaining a winning finance team) and discussed the challenges a CFO faces as a leader of change. PricewaterhouseCoopers was represented at the summit by Anastasia Osipova, Partner, Ekaterina Serova, Partner, and Anna Kuznetsova, senior manager.
