The Convergence Monitor, Personal Mobility is the third in a series of global surveys of PwC staff aimed at understanding preferences and interest in buying and using various converged services. Personal Mobility focuses on which devices and applications people are using today and desire in the future.
More broadly, the report discusses the changes driving and enabling personal mobility, and contemplates the resulting challenges faced by service providers, equipment manufacturers and application developers.
Winning companies will be those that use collaboration to meet customer demands and desires. They will take a holistic view of the customer leveraging both their mobile business and personal behaviours. Through value chain collaboration, they will provide innovative, quality service offerings; ensure flexibility and speed to market. Increasingly as the global economy slows, they will use collaboration to overcome barriers to entry such as cost and risk.
