Global Economic Crime Survey 2005

Even if it is impossible to eradicate fraud, organizations must take practical measures to develop controls and build on the loyalty of their employees to ensure they do not provide an environment in which economic crime can flourish.

PwC's third biennial Economic Crime Survey is based on interviews with more than 3,600 senior executives in 34 countries, and reveals their experiences with fraud, its causes and losses, their responses and recovery actions and the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures.
