After a year of economic upheaval, 2010 looks poised to bring about strong fiscal pressures as the Romanian authorities will have to adjust budget revenues to meet the deficit targets agreed with the IMF.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania tax specialists and our colleagues at D&B David si Baias law firm discussed the impact of the latest changes to the Tax Code and the impact of Romania’s current fiscal policy on the business environment. We shared with the participants lessons learned by companies from last year’s experience, as well as our views on how to effectively deal with the tax authorities.
Our 11th Annual Tax and Legal Conference was an opportunity to discuss industry specific issues with our tax experts to identify solutions and opportunities for the coming year.
During the conference we launched TaxOnline.ro, a PwC web portal that marks the beginning of a new era in tax consulting.
