Poland: Living conditions

  • Average mobile telephone density per 100 inhabitants is 105. There are 51 commercial banks and 71 insurance companies, mostly foreign-owned. As a result there are more than 10,000 ATMs.


  • One of the challenges Poland faces is the poor condition of the roads, however this situation may change due to the support of assistance funds from the EU.


  • The average income in Poland is much lower than in the average EU country, so many goods and especially services have considerably lower prices than in Western Europe.


  • Special attention should be paid to high-quality Polish organic goods.
