According to information gathered by PwC, key investment projects to be implemented in Warszawa are a.o.:
- Construction of a National Stadium for 55,000 spectators at a cost of approx PLN 1bn
- Reconstruction of the stadium used by Legia Warszawa football club
- Construction of a second terminal at Fryderyk Chopin Airport
- Rail connection between the airport and the city centre
- Completion of the first underground line linking the North and South of the city
- Construction of a second underground line, linking the East and West of the city with a stop at the National Stadium,
- Construction of a fast tram line, connecting the Centre with the North-Eastern part of the city,
- Tram connection between the Eastern districts of the metropolitan area (Grodzisk Mazowiecki) and its South-Eastern extremities (Otwock)
- Construction of the city ringroad, forming part of the North-South and East-West motorways,
- Construction of S8 dual carriageway, connecting Wrocław and Warszawa. Project cost – in excess of EUR 2bn,
- Construction of S17 dual carriageway through Lublin to Hrebenne (border crossing with Ukraine),
- Construction of two new bridges spanning the Vistula River: the Northern Bridge, and the bridge connecting Żoliborz and Praga
- Hotel infrastructure investment
