Global Human Resources Team


The GHRT (Global Human Resources Tax) team, currently consisting of more than 45 specialists, is the largest team in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax department. This group includes a partner, two directors, three senior managers, four managers and a large body of consultants who have extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of personal income taxation, social security issues, payroll and human resources administration as well as in procedures of legalization of work and stay. Our expertise in Polish, international and the EU regulations as well as constant monitoring of the changes in the tax and social security law enable us to provide our clients with comprehensive advisory aimed at solving problems encountered by the Polish and foreign companies.

  • Tax effective employment structures for Polish and foreign nationals,

Social security consulting services
  • Consulting regarding the social security and health insurance implications of specific compensation and benefits elements
  • Consulting regarding the social security implications of different legal titles forming the basis of remuneration

Social security – international transfers of employees
  • Planning of efficient solutions connected with the secondment of employees in light of the social security regulations, including Council Regulation (EEC) No 1408/71,
  • Preparation, on behalf of persons seconded to work within the European Union, of applications for E101/E102 forms confirming applicability of the social security legislation in a given country,
  • Preparation of applications for European forms stating the possibility to take advantage of medical care in the host country
  • Preparation of contracts for the assuming of remitter obligations by a foreign employer for persons employed in Poland, based on art. 109 of Regulation (EEC) No 574/72,
  • Preparation of social security and health insurance calculations, as well as preparation and filing with the appropriate authorities of registration and calculation documents for persons seconded to Poland, who are subject to obligatory Polish social security and health insurance,
  • Preparation of documents necessary to register a person for the purposes of voluntary pension and disability insurance,
  • Concluding, on behalf of the insured person, of agreements with the National Health Fund for the accession to voluntary health insurance,
  • Representing clients in administrative proceedings before the Social Security Authority.

  • Registration of sojourn of the EU citizens on the territory of Poland,
  • Obtaining a permit for sojourn for long-term EC residents,
