The Foundation: PricewaterhouseCoopers „Podaruj siebie” started its activity in November 2005. Its main aim is to equalize educational opportunities and improve the quality of education of children from the social margin and give them opportunity to enter the job market. That is why we want to support the increase of social awareness and popularize initiatives facilitating social integration. Our activities are wholly based on knowledge, skills and resources of PwC employees. The foundation offers support for the chosen non-governmental organizations within the three areas:
- Consulting: PwC employees give advice to organizations supported by our Foundation in the area of their skills and professional competences. Mostly, consulting concerns: taxes, accountancy, marketing, public relations, legal issues, IT and website creation
- Voluntary work: Foundation’s activities include aid and support in organizing actions, events and picnics for children and youth. Our employees-volunteers help in office work, editing and translations. They also engage themselves in help in education and organization of entertainment for children, as well as organizing informative meetings for the youth applying for jobs.
- Popularization of activities in the interest of social integration:
The Foundation’s activities within the range of social integration popularization encompass the following:
- Competition within the range of the project „Grasz o staż” All the names of programs, foundations and organizations are translated for the reader’s convenience, Polish name- which is binding- is given in the brackets. (“Compete for the job training”): organizing the competition for the best student project concerning the activities within the range of social integration and fighting social marginalization in Poland. The award in this competition is the job training in PwC Foundation and/or non-governmental organization.

- Social campaign in the interest of integration: PwC Foundation plans to popularize effective methods of preventing and counteracting marginalization in social awareness, especially in public administration, media, business circles by means of co-operation at conference organization and popularization of good practice as well as public relation activity promoting the best solutions in this area
