More women are joining the work force with around 552 million females participating in the global labour force between 1980 and 2008. This number is expected to add a billion more over the next ten years. But the participation of women in top management level remains a concern. Companies now face a critical challenge of attracting and retaining female millennial talents considering that female millenials (born between 1980 and 1995), deemed more educated, make up a significant proportion of the current and future talent pool.
In celebration for women’s month, PwC surveyed women on their job prospects and plans summarised in this report. This PwC report also aims to discuss how to position organisation and talent strategies towards the attraction, retention and development of this significant talent pool.
