Judith V. Lopez elected as Chairman & Senior Partner
Judith V. Lopez had been elected as Chairman & Senior Partner of Isla Lipana & Co. Her term began on July 1, 2009.
Tammy H. Lipana, the immediate past Chairman & Senior Partner announced last May the transition of leadership on behalf of the partners and principals of the Philippine member firm of the global PricewaterhouseCoopers network.
Ms. Lopez has served as Vice Chairman of Isla Lipana & Co. since 2006, and as Managing Partner for Assurance since 2001. She will continue her latter role on a concurrent basis.
Ms. Lopez joined the firm in 1978 and became a partner in 1991. Prior to her selection as the Chairman & Senior Partner, she served in a variety of leadership and client services roles. She is also a frequent speaker here and abroad on topics related to the accounting profession and corporate governance. As Chairman, Ms. Lopez continues to serve on the firm’s leadership team along with the Managing Partner for Advisory, Rose Javier; Managing Partner for Tax, Alex Cabrera; Human Capital Partner Jenny Arciga; and Assurance Partner Che Javier.
