Jerry S. Isla receives ACPAPP's Honorary Life Member Award

The Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP) presented our former Chairman and Senior Partner Jerry S. Isla with an "Honorary Life Member" Award during its annual Christmas party held last 6 December at the Tower Club of the Philamlife Tower Building.

Mrs. Clarissa Isla-Geotina accepted the award on behalf of her father and delivered his acceptance speech. Jerry's message read: “Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve ACPAPP. Thank you even more for recognizing the achievements during my watch. This will not be possible without the cooperation and hard work of my board of directors with whom I would like to share this honor. Again, my sincerest thanks and best wishes for the holiday season.”

The attendees also watched a video honoring his achievements and his remarkable personality. Jerry was the firm's Chairman and Senior Partner from 2001 to 2006. Prior to this, he was managing partner of audit and business advisory services, and later vice chairman and deputy senior partner. He served as ACPAPP President in 2001 and ACPAPP Foundation President in 2002.

The Honorary Life Member award is given to those who have contributed over 20 years of service, members who have maintained the highest professional integrity and gave significant contributions for the advancement of the association.

ACPAPP President Leonardo Cuaresma, Jr. and Chairman of the Nominating Committee and ACPAPP Foundation President Atty. Eranio Punsalan presented the plaque of recognition to the awardees.
ACPAPP past presidents, board directors and members attended the event which adopted the theme, Christmas in Chinatown.
