Alex Cabrera talks on Controversial BIR, CTA Decisions at PICPA Event

The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) - Metro Manila Region (MMR) and Metro Manila Geographical Area Office (GAO) held the 2013 Metro Manila and GAO Regional Conference at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel InterContinental Manila in Makati City last 7 and 8 February 2013.
Tax Managing Partner and Markets Leader Atty. Alex Cabrera, a sought-after lecturer/ resource speaker on tax, auditing and accounting matters, was invited to talk in the technical sessions held last 8 February. He discussed the topic, "Controversial BIR and CTA Decisions".
The conference committee organized the technical sessions to update participants on global and national issues, as well as trends that affect the accountancy profession and their roles as CPAs and business advisors. This regional PICPA event was anchored on the theme "Upholding Ethics. Pursuing Excellence", which the National PICPA adopted as its theme for this year.
