|There's more to the world-renowned Boracay island than its powdery white sands. This is what the team from PwC Consulting (Philippines), Inc. had in mind when they planned their Tourism with a Purpose (TwP) activity.
Last 7 June, the team conducted a 'Tsinelas' Drive and gave away new pairs of slippers and art supplies to children of Balabag Day Care Center in Boracay. Balabag is one of the three barangays in the island with a population of 11,076.
Barangay councilor Celerina Sacapaño welcomed the team headed by Consulting Director Gene Morales in a simple rite during the distribution of slippers and art supplies.
The Day Care workers Loralie Mariano and Melsie Seraspi also assisted the team in its TwP activity.
