People
Our People Practice seeks to ensure that an organisation’s people and culture are aligned with its strategy. Through the PwC Resilience Programme, we work with clients to build a high performance culture by optimising how people function and the engagement they bring to their work. This builds resilient people, resilient organisations and high potential leaders.
It is people that bring together all the elements of an organisation to achieve goals and deliver on the strategy. People are both the most powerful enabler and the most dynamic driver of organisational performance. Understanding these needs and providing a coordinated approach to the people dimension is a powerful component of the Performance Improvement framework. Elements of the people dimension include:
- Developing an overarching People strategy
- Organisational structure including the assignment of accountabilities and relationships
- Talent management including attraction and retention strategies
- Performance management including both PM systems and processes and practices and mechanisms to create a high performance culture
- Leadership, communication and culture all elements that inter-relate to create the “feel” of the organisation
- Individual and corporate resilience , by building a high performance culture optimising how people function and the engagement they bring to their work
- Change management and change capability including the setting of change strategies and agendas, communicating a compelling change vision and developing the commitment to deliver a new organisation through, sometimes difficult times
- Governance policies and behaviour to achieve regulatory compliance
- Project, programme and change management capability including the ability to coordinate initiatives across functional boundaries and deliver projects and programmes across discrete timeframes
Our role is to provide the knowledge, skills, tools and advise to engage the people within our clients to make change happen and to deliver on the operational capability of the organisation.
