| Michele heads the technical function of the New Zealand PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) firm providing key advice on complex financial reporting, statutory and regulatory reporting issues. Since 2004 Michele has specialised in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) advising clients about the adoption of IFRS and the application of the standards to complex transactions.
As a Global Accounting Consulting Services (ACS) Partner, Michele is one of 80 accredited global ACS partners of PwC, responsible for ensuring consistency of the interpretation of IFRS by PwC member firms. Michele also manages the firm's internal and external training courses and is a frequent keynote speaker at seminars on financial reporting issues. Michele has lent her support and advice in New Zealand accounting standard setting. She was an integral member of the team that developed the standard setting process, in particular the adoption of IFRS in New Zealand. Michele was also a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants’ (NZICA) working group that converted the IFRS to New Zealand equivalent standards (NZIFRS) and also a member of the tax working group. Michele gives ongoing support to the development of NZIFRS as a member of the NZICA Public Benefit Entity working group that contributes to the development of NZIFRS for public sector and not-for-profit activities. The experience gained from working with public sector, for profit and not for profit clients over a number of years means Michele brings a multi-dimensional and practical perspective to the application of accounting standards. |

| Stephen Hogg is a Director within the ACS practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers based in Auckland. Prior to joining the ACS team in 2004 Stephen had spent 10 years working in assurance including 5 years of overseas experience primarily in the investment management industry.
Stephen’s current role entails training clients on IFRS issues and assisting with IFRS conversions. Stephen’s particular focus within the ACS team is on financial instruments and hedge accounting. He is the internal PwC initial reference point for queries on IAS 39, has presented externally on the impacts of adopting IFRS and is involved in our internal training programmes. Stephen’s clients include: Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Gough Group, Meridian Energy, Genesis Energy, Kiwibank, BNZ, Southland Building Society, Auckland City, Fonterra Co-operative Group, Media Works, Briscoes, Caltex and Vector. |

Rachel White is a Director within the ACS practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers based in Auckland and is a member of the Firm’s Global ACS Group. Prior to joining the ACS team in 2004 Rachel had spent the previous seven years working in industry both in house and as a consultant after an initial period of seven years in a CA environment. Rachel’s current role entails training both clients and staff on IFRS issues and assisting with IFRS issues arising in complex transactions. Rachel’s particular focus within the ACS team is on the classification, recognition and measurement of financial instruments and accounting for business combinations. Recent client work has included specific accounting advice on how to treat stepped acquisitions, share based payments and tax restructuring. Key clients are Abano Healthcare Group, Eastend Infrastructure Group, ABN Amro, Michael Hill International and Auckland City Council. |

| Lyn Hunt is a Senior Manager within the Accounting Consulting Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers based in Auckland.
Prior to joining the ACS team in 2008, Lyn has worked in professional services, both in New Zealand and in the UK, for 11 years delivering assurance services to clients in a range of industries. Lyn has also spent four years in a commercial environment, working in Operational Audit and Finance Manager roles for a UK-listed company. Lyn’s current role entails training clients and staff on IFRS and assisting with IFRS issues arising from complex transactions. |

Mariann is a Manager within the ACS practice of Pricewaterhousecoopers based in Auckland. Mariann started her career in PricewaterhouseCoopers Hungary and worked in Jersey in the Channel Islands where she specialised in accounts preparation under UK GAAP and IFRS before she was transferred to New Zealand in 2004 to join the ACS team in the Auckland office. Mariann’s current role entails training both clients and staff on IFRS and assisting with IFRS issues arising in complex transactions. Mariann’s key clients include Auckland City Council, Metrowater, Genesis Energy, ASB Bank and Tower. Mariann’s particular focus within the Pricewaterhousecoopers ACS team is on financial instruments. |
