Brent has extensive corporate and individual tax expertise. Brent is involved as tax advisor to a number of small and large organisations. These organisations cover a number of industries including manufacturing, oil and gas exploration, transport and professional firms. These organisations are variously local, family owned, multinational and publicly listed. In addition Brent and his team advise and provide compliance services to individuals with international tax issues.

Brent's work also includes tax services to our own Private Client Services and Assurance units and other firms of chartered accountants who engage us for specialist tax advice relating to their clients.

Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Brent worked in industry for six years where he had tax responsibilities for a large corporate in the oil and gas sector.

His work experience prior to this includes other large companies and a major accounting firm in tax and accounting positions in New Zealand and overseas.

His areas of expertise and specialisation include:
  • Extensive tax experience, and deep industry knowledge, in the oil and gas industry
  • High level of understanding of complex tax legislation
