Deadlines

The first major deadline passed in December 2008. All registrants had to pre-register before the first of that month. After pre-registration, the new deadlines for registration depend on the tonnage band of the produced or imported substance. In addition to that registration, businesses need to notify the occurrence of substances of very high concern.

30 November 2010

  • Registration has to be finalised for the first tonnage band for import or production of more than 1,000,000 kg per annum

30 May 2011

  • This is the deadline for notification of occurrence of substances of very high concern (SVHC). Notification is necessary when the product contains more than 0,1% weight SVHC of the weight of the product and more than 1,000 kg per annum is imported or produced.

30 May 2013

  • The second tonnage band between 100,000 kg and 1,000,000 kg per annum has to be registered.

30 May 2018

  • The last group of registrants (more than 1,000 kg per annum) has to submit the registration data dossier before this date.
