General information Programme Date & participation Location

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a performance improvement philosophy, methodology and toolset in one. It has become a commonly used approach to performance improvement projects. The benefits of LSS are focus on customer requirements and process efficiency and the fact that decisions are based on data. The outcome is improved customer satisfaction and significant cost reduction. While the structured approach and data based decision making ensures tight project control. LSS helps mobilising the professionals in an organisation for a focused continuous improvement journey, improving employee effectiveness and providing a performance oriented culture.

Yellow Belts play a supporting role in performance improvement projects either as sponsor or champion or as employee in an organisation that has decided to embark on a LSS initiative.
