PwC's IPSAS Academy
To enhance accountability and transparency in financial reporting, the Federal Government of Nigeria at its Federal Executive (FEC) meeting of 28 July 2010, approved the adoption of the provisions of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and IPSAS for the private and public sectors respectively. The PwC IPSAS Academy is targeted at ensuring a seamless transition by the federal, state and local governments, ministries, departments and agencies to reporting under IPSAS. We have developed a curriculum focused on meeting the requirements of all stakeholders during this transition period. Each session features an opportunity to share experiences and leverage on best practices.
