Day 2 presented the workshop participants with an opportunity to propose key ICT transformation projects based on current strengths and opportunities in the Namibian ICT sector, the ICT regulatory framework, market absorption capacity and education, Human Resources and entrepreneurship in Namibia.
Officiating on day 2 on behalf of the Minister of Information & Communication Technologies, Permanent Secretary of MICT, Mbeuta Ua-Ndjarakana highlighted the importance of the ICT sector as an enabler for other industries in the country, in particular the ones stipulated in NDP4 – Tourism, Logistics, Manufacturing and Agriculture.
