As GST is an inherent risk in any business, companies cannot be complacent about GST. How well do you know the following?

  • The recharge of expenses incurred on behalf of a related company can give rise to a GST liability.
  • Not all charges to a foreign person can be zero-rated. Conversely, that some services provided to a local person can be zero-rated.
  • A company has to account for GST on the disposal of its fixed assets and the trade-in of used office equipment.
  • There are GST implications of giving gifts to customers and employees at the annual dinner and dance.
  • Fringe benefits provided to your employees are subject to GST.

If you are still unfamiliar with all this, you may want to get up to speed by attending our workshop.
