KUALA LUMPUR, 14 August 2013 – PwC is growing its consulting capability in South East Asia with the formation of a new joint venture between PwC Consulting practices in South East Asia, New Zealand, Australia and the United States.
"The coming together of South East Asia’s individual consulting businesses will give PwC clients access to an integrated service network and specialist consultants across the region. It’s an exciting time for us as we grow our consulting business and take on new opportunities in this region,” said Sridharan Nair, Managing Partner, PwC Malaysia.
South East Asia is one of the fastest growing regions in the world, and there is significant demand for specialist consulting expertise and support.
"PwC Malaysia’s consulting practice will be a major player in this joint venture. We have an established local practice that provides services in Strategy, Sustainability, People & Change, Technology, Risk & Governance, Operations & Finance and Forensics," said Sundara Raj, PwC Malaysia's Consulting Leader.
"Through this collaboration, we will further strengthen our consulting capabilities and give our clients better access to regional and international PwC subject matter experts. We therefore hope to better serve our Malaysian clients, and develop new local and regional ones. We're also looking forward to giving our people further opportunities to develop professionally and work regionally," Raj said.
The new PwC South East Asian Consulting Business commenced on August 1, 2013.
